Change of Host Hotel

Our apologies for the issues with reservations at the Hampton Inn in Marshall. It was our understanding that the hotel management would reach out to inform us that the block was filled or close to being full so that another block could be opened. Unfortunately, that did not happen. We totally understand your frustration with the situation but have been unable to resolve it to everyone’s satisfaction. HOWEVER, if you have already made a reservation with the Hampton, you do not need to change that reservation unless you choose to do so.

We have reserved a block of 28 rooms at the Home Towne Suites and Red Roof Inn of Battle Creek. The properties are adjacent to each other and are just off of the I-94 expressway (Exit 97). This hotel is approximately twelve miles from Marshall and approximately 20 minutes driving time. (with small exceptions, all of the other hotels in Marshall are booked for our specialty week). Here are the particulars:

• All rooms have been recently renovated with new flooring, furniture and bedding.
• We have requested that all rooms be on the ground level as there is no elevator on this property. Please be sure to request a ground level room when you make your reservation.
• A $50 refundable deposit is required at the time of reservation to cover any damages or smoking in rooms.
• Limit of two pets per room
  • For the suites, there is a $50 pet fee for the week
  • For the standard hotel room, the pet fee is waived
• Check in time is 3 pm
• Check out time is 11 am
• Free wi-fi and internet
• Pet station with waste bags
• Walking distance to Culver’s; plenty of other restaurants near by
• Easy access to I-94 going east to Marshall (literally across the street)

Effective Monday, March 25, 2024, reservations may be made by calling the hotel reservation number at 1-800-733-7663. 

Rooms not reserved by August 13, 2024 will be released from the block.

The block is set for a Friday departure date. Anyone intending to stay over on Friday should make that arrangement directly with the hotel.
